Clan Dyken is an activist folk-rock band from the Calaveras County foothills of California, formed by brothers Mark and Bear Dyken and built around a rotating cast of family and longtime collaborators. Their sound blends tribal funk, folk, rock, blues and reggae into danceable songs about peace, justice and environmental defense. They recorded the 1992 album Shundahai using entirely solar power and have toured with a solar-powered stage and a vegetable-oil bus. For more than three decades they have anchored the annual Beauty Way Tour, raising funds and supplies for Diné families at Big Mountain, Arizona.
