Brian "Swiz" Swislow

Brian "Swiz" Swislow is a keyboardist, producer, and bandleader based in Arcata, California, known for an explosive, percussive Hammond B-3 style rooted in his early life as a drummer. A Chicago native who played drums before turning to keys, he became a fixture of the Humboldt scene, co-founding the soul-funk-R&B group Object Heavy and leading projects such as B. Swizlo's Mystery Lounge, the Red Fox Acid Jazz Experiment, and the Humboldt County Freestyle Kings. He has recorded and shared stages with members of Frank Zappa's, James Brown's, and the Headhunters' bands, and co-owns the Humboldt lifestyle brand Fatbol Clothing.
