Black Arts Stage

The Black Arts Stage is a dedicated showcase at the Sunny Brae Porch Fest in Arcata, California, presenting performances from Black community members. Held at a host porch on Buttermilk Lane during the free, walkable neighborhood festival, it features a rotating lineup of local musicians, vocalists, and spoken-word artists spanning soul, hip-hop, and other styles. The stage is part of the festival's effort to center Black voices and artistry within Humboldt County's local music scene, alongside other community programming such as the Hip Hop Humboldt stage.
