Grateful Dead tribute band Bigfoot County is a rotating collective of seasoned Humboldt County musicians that has taken its show on summer runs down the coast. Guitarist Dan Murphy (Hardly Deadly, Miracle Show) is joined by guitarist Gueren White (Seed & Soil, Woven Roots), bassist Eric Parchman (Velvet Sea, Miracle Show, The Stallions), keyboardist Bernie Hammond (Triple Junction, Resonators) and drummer Eric Johnston (Bayside Music). Their sound channels an early-'80s Grateful Dead cross-section with elements of JGB, Kingfish, NRPS and Old and in the Way, delivered as a danceable, high-energy party. The group has also played Anderson Valley Brewing Company's 'Boontling' disc golf tournament.
