Big Mountain

Big Mountain is an American reggae band from San Diego, California, formed in 1986 as Rainbow Warriors/Shiloh and renamed Big Mountain in 1991 in honor of a Native American reservation in Arizona. Fronted by Joaquin "Quino" McWhinney, the band achieved international fame in 1994 with its reggae cover of Peter Frampton's "Baby, I Love Your Way" (#6 Billboard Hot 100, #2 UK) featured on the Reality Bites soundtrack. Blending Southern California Latin, soul and Jamaican roots reggae influences, the band headlined Reggae Sunsplash in 1994-1995 and continues to tour worldwide with nearly 2 million monthly Spotify listeners.
