Barn Fire

Barn Fire formed in 2016 in the hills of Humboldt County to fill the void of authentic, classic Honkytonk Country music in the area. Through years and various lineups (by their count: 15 drummers, 5 lead guitarists, 5 pedal steel players), founding members Nick and Turtle have kept the sound and energy consistent. Their music pays homage to honkytonk classics like Sanford Clark and Red Simpson while drawing heavily on outlaw country influences such as Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. North Coast Journal calls them 'Humboldt's finest honkytonk outlaw country band bar none' — they only come out of the woods for a few sets a year.
