Barking Dogma

Barking Dogma is an eclectic progressive avant band from Arcata, California, formed in July 1992 to perform the intricately arranged, lyrically quirky music of composer and multi-instrumentalist Kevyn Dymond. Anchored by a sax section, the six-piece group became a Humboldt County institution during a prolific early-'90s run that included a CD, steady touring and a hugely successful local residency before going quiet in December 1995. The band reformed in 2021, continuing to bring Dymond's complex, high-energy originals to North Coast stages.
