Bandemonium

Bandemonium is an acoustic horn and drum band from Arcata, California, built on the world village band tradition of street-ready grooves. The group learns its tunes by ear and leaves lots of room for creative jamming and original compositions. Drawing on brass, reeds and percussion, the ensemble plays community celebrations, parades, festivals and benefit events throughout Humboldt County, with a mission to promote social justice and civic engagement through music. Long a fixture of the North Coast scene, Bandemonium has appeared everywhere from the Arcata Playhouse Mardi Gras and the North Country Fair to library storytimes and the Eureka waterfront.
