Amandroid

Amandroid is a Humboldt County, California-based DJ and producer whose unclassifiable sets span global bass, breakbeats, jungle, booty music, footwork, techno, dub and dubstep. A deep digger of underground sounds, she has worked with the Bay Area S.P.A.Z and 5lowershop collectives since the late 1990s and early 2000s, and has co-organized and performed at underground events across the United States and worldwide for over 25 years. She fronts the Army of Love soundsystem and hosts the long-running Dam Free Radio, and she is a firm believer in working it out on the dance floor and in the power of music to transcend, uplift and heal.
