Alisha Solan

Alisha Solan is a San Diego-based spoken-word poet and solo performer. Her show I Blame the Moon is a visceral, at times humorous poetry journey through self-discovery and sexual reawakening after the death of her partner of thirty years. A professor of communication studies and longtime practitioner in the Plum Village tradition, she brings a reflective, intimate storytelling voice to the stage.
